After graduating, she packed up and migrated south, to the Twin Cities area. There she lived with an amazing set of roommates… her grandparents! She still considers this one of the best decisions of her life. She attended one year at a community college before deciding she would venture back to Moorhead to earn a bachelor’s degree in Public Relations from Minnesota State University Moorhead. Kallie then worked for SCHEELS at the Corporate Office where she planned photo and video shoots in the marketing department. She worked with local talent and also had the amazing opportunity to plan photoshoots for high profile athletes like Carson Wentz. She then went on to work for The Salvation Army in Fargo as the Public Relations Manager. She organized events, fundraisers, and worked closely with fantastic volunteers from the community. In 2016, Kallie made the huge decision to buy a house in Barnesville. She closed on her 25th birthday and moved in with her dog, Lily. In 2017, she began dating a long-time friend (not all love is love at first sight!) and got married in March of 2019. She and her husband, Jordan, enjoy traveling, the outdoors, live music, and finding treasures during garbage week. In March of 2020, Kallie gave birth to their oldest daughter, Olivia Jordan. Kallie is now a proud stay-at-home mom. She loves writing about thrifty living, party planning, and nurturing relationships on her blog. When Kallie bought her small, 980-square foot home she never imagined so much love would grow there. Her family eventually plans to build in the country but for now, enjoy the closeness of small living. She is a (nearly) lifelong North Dakotan, married to her college sweetheart, and has 3 rambunctious girls. She loves all things crafting, attempting to read books not related to parenting, and drinking hot coffee every chance she gets. When Kathy’s not attempting to work with her kids yelling in the background, you might find her at one of the local breweries or coffee bars in the area or attempting to find unique treasures at a local thrift store. She met her husband, Justin, at a bar in Pittsburgh and, despite many romantic Skype dates, found a long-distance relationship to be a drag and moved to Fargo in 2010. She's a bonus mom to Justin's son, Owen (2005), and they have twins Augie and Delphi (2016) and two Great Danes, Rainy and Moose. She's a Speech-Language Pathologist & Certified Brain Injury Specialist who enjoys helping her patients improve their quality of life. She is also a Certified Sculpt Instructor at Mojo Fit Studios. Katina loves showing the world to her kids (but also seeing the world through their eyes), trying new foods, listening to live music and publicly mocking her little brother on Instagram. On most weekends, you can find her at one of her kids' many activities by day, and by night on the couch in sweats, eating a homemade charcuterie board and drinking cheap wine she bought at Costco. She still has Skype dates, but now they're with friends and family who live all over the place. After years of infertility, more shots than she could count (and not the fun kind), Andrea and her husband welcomed their first child into the world, and two years later, their second. With 9 embryos on ice, she and her husband are on a mission to navigate through the trauma they've experienced and support others in the process. Andrea's background is in occupational therapy, and has worked at Beyond Boundaries for the last 10 years. While now a part time clinician, Andrea has created a health and life coaching business helping women through reproduction get their life back. If she isn't podcasting, coaching or ripping up the hallways at the clinic, you can find her volunteering at GiGi's Playhouse as board president. Her ties to GiGis are strong, as a younger sibling is a current GiGis participant. For fun, Andrea loves to golf, read, listen to true crime, and hang out at the pool with her kids. She also loves building forts, Legos, and playing Barbie's. You can find her on Instagram, blog, and her podcast. She and her husband have two daughters and a son: Aiden (2008), Gemma (2016), and Ezra (2021). With ages ranging from infant to teenager, Anthea keeps herself busy just trying to keep up with her kiddos! In the past 14 years, Anthea has seen the rules of parenting change and evolve, which just goes to show we are always learning and adapting. No parent is perfect! Which is why Anthea feels it is important for moms to have a network where they can support each other and learn from one another. After moving around in her college and Army National Guard years, she settled in Barnesville with her husband, Dan, in 2015. They have two young sons, Oliver and Finn, and two dogs – a Beagle named Frankie and a crazy Lab mix rescue named Haddie. Caitlin was the owner of a small blog and Etsy shop for a couple of years and a licensed veterinary technician for nearly 10 years. She recently set aside all to focus on being a full-time stay-at-home mom. She is hoping to homeschool in the coming years. Caitlin loves the outdoors and is passionate about the benefits of connecting and reconnecting children and adults to nature in a technology-saturated world. Since their infancies, she and her husband have strived to include their boys in all their outdoor pursuits, cultivating a lot of good life lessons through the triumphs and failures this has allowed them. They particularly enjoy hiking/backpacking, tent camping, fishing, gardening, and exploring the nooks and crannies of Minnesota, along with unearthing the diversity in their own (itty bitty) backyard. Caitlin also enjoys reading, woodworking and crafting, learning “homestead-y” skills, birdwatching, traveling, and writing. She’s on a journey of learning to source more locally through makers, farms, and other businesses and loves exploring these resources in the area. Her (unofficial) love language is coffee. Along with spending her days working as a program manager, she enjoys finding unique family experiences in the Fargo-Moorhead area, volunteering, reading, and simply being honest about the realities of motherhood in all its vehement glory. Lindsay is the exact opposite of that. What she lacks in skill and willingness to do ALL the things, she tries to replace by being present and positive. Her top priority is her family - her husband, Chris, two boys born in 2018 and 2020, and dogs, Burton and Gus. She also prioritizes herself, working as a Communications Manager for a healthcare company and staying well through exercise, gratitude, and mindfulness. Her first love is running and she has run marathons in several cities, including Boston, Chicago (which she ran pregnant with her first son), Duluth, and of course, Fargo. Her writing is often based on personal stories, with a touch of humor, and lots of honesty. I'm a mom of three boys who light up my life. I have an uber intelligent Electrical Engineer of a husband, Mitch. Life with my four men is pretty amazing, we have our highs and lows, but all in all I am one lucky lady. A little bit about me... I’ve got three moods: 1. Lounge on the couch and binge watch TV and forget about the stresses of the day. Give me The Office, New Girl, Bravo Summer House or whatever else the streaming sites have enticed me with, some good snacks and we've got ourselves a good time. 2. Fun seeking, social butterfly – the more social interaction and people the better – throw in coffee or a beer, sunshine and water and you’ve got the perfect day. 3. Productive tornado. I LOVE to set goals and chase them, I LOVE to try new things, and I LOVE to be “successful” and see a passion follow through. Although I’ve got three different moods, there are also some constants. I am outgoing and a huge extrovert. I love Jesus more than anything and apart from Him I’d be a mess. On top of that, people are my thing and I am pretty sure I could carry a conversation with a rock – with that, though, I’m a bit awkward. The awkwardness is fun because I don’t typically get embarrassed but instead I can laugh through most situations making others feel more comfortable (hopefully). It’s a joy to be authentic and let things roll how they will. In my spare time I enjoy doing drinking gallons on gallons of coffee, listening to podcasts, going on walks, volleyball, my friends, reading a good book, cooking, watching TV, etc. etc. etc. (you get the idea…). My favorites are my boys, the color green, watermelon, Mexican food, coffee, summer & sunshine, and people. Lastly, you should know, I’m excited to share life with you.
