Here’s what you need to know about indoor walking options around town.

6 Spots for Indoor Walking Tracks in Fargo & Moorhead

1. West Acres Mall

3902 13th Ave S, Fargo

Open at 6:30 a.m. Monday through Saturday and at 8:00 a.m. on Sundays. Get there early, beat the crowds, and do some window-shopping! Check out their website for more information.

2. Moorhead Sports Center

2400 4th Ave S, Moorhead

This indoor track circles around the ice arenas. Open year-round Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Hours are subject to change, and the walking track could be closed due to events and tournaments, call (218) 284-2287 for an updated schedule. Also, distance maps are available at the Moorhead Parks & Recreation Office.

3. Fargo South High Sports Arena

2001 17th Ave S, Fargo

Open year-round with a walking track when the building is open. Hours may vary depending on activities and season. Check their schedule for hours.

4. Rustad Recreation Center

601 26th Ave E, West Fargo

The 1/8 mile walking track is available and free to the public whenever the facility is open. However, it may be closed for special events without notice. Check out their website for a listing of current hours.

5. West Fargo Veterans Memorial Arena

1201 7th Ave E, West Fargo

The Veterans Memorial Arena features a 1/8 mile walking track open Monday – Friday 7:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m., Saturday & Sunday 7:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. Hours are sibject to change due to season or special events so check their schedule before going.

6. Fargo Sports Center

6100 38th St S, South Fargo

This newest Fargo facility has a beautiful walking track that is stroller-friendly! Current hours are Monday-Thursday 7:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m., Fridays 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., and Saturdays 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. They are closed on Sundays.
