Bar Down
This hockey-themed sports bar and restaurant opened in 2020. Located in West Fargo in The Lights complex, they have a spacious patio and a fun, kid-friendly atmosphere.
Baron’s Eatery & Bar
Located inside Kingpinz, this fun food spot will get you some sunshine while you eat before heading inside to play! Pick from staples like tacos, pizza, and burgers, or step up your game with an entree or pasta!
Beer & Fish Company
This is a hidden gem in Robert’s Alley in Downtown Fargo known for their fresh fish and large menu. They provide casual dining and favorites include fish and chips, crab cakes, and an oyster bar. The outdoor patio is located in the alley.
Brew Bird
Come for their Tiki drinks and fried chicken, Brew Bird has a fun outdoor space on the edge of downtown Fargo. Try their chicken sandwich and dipping sauce options. And bonus, everything on their menu is gluten-free!
Brewtus’ Brickhouse
They have wood-fired pizza, big portions, good service, and an extensive tap list. Enjoy their lunch menu on the patio on a sunny day.
Doolittle’s Woodfire Grill
Woodfire cooking creates delicious rotisserie chicken at this casual dining restaurant. They also have tasty salads and a large selection of wine. Doolittle’s is located just off I-94 and 25th Street.
El Agave
Because who doesn’t love a drink and some tacos on the patio? Full menu of authentic Mexican dishes you won’t want to miss.
Fargo Billiards & Gastropub
Pool tables, ping pong, foosball tables provide entertainment for the whole family at Billiards. In south Fargo, they offer outdoor dining and a bar area with three sand volleyball courts.
Granite City
Conveniently located near the West Acres Mall, Granite City features a large patio area and is known for their generous helpings, extensive menu, and on-site brewery.
Hen House
Located in the former Brewtus’ Brickhouse in Moorhead, this family friendly spot specializes in sandwiches, brick oven pizza’s and more! Check out their Facebook page for upcoming events.
Hooligan’s
Just off 32nd Avenue in West Fargo, Hooligans features a spacious deck upstairs and 2 patios on the main floor. They serve up pizza and wings with friendly service in a fun atmosphere.
Legends
This sports bar and restaurant in Moorhead has a patio area with views of a local pond. This local favorite is known for its great burgers and potato options.
Lucky’s 13 Pub
This a classic pub serves up burgers and comfort food. It’s located not too far from West Acres Mall and has a patio area for soaking up the sun.
Paradiso
This local chain is well known for its free chips and Mexican fare. With a sizable outdoor area, Paradiso is a good spot for large groups of people.
Porter Creek Hardwood Grill
This huge patio with a fire pit provides a nice atmosphere for outdoor dining. They serve modern American food, with their rotisserie chicken being a favorite.
Sol Ave Kitchen

Offering a rooftop patio, Rhombus Guys offers delicious, unique pizza options, and a good drink selection. Rhombus Guys is located in Downtown Fargo and their patio has a fun, vibrant atmosphere.

Known for their build your own burgers, salads, and pizzas, this location features a garage door that opens to a huge outdoor patio.
Wurst Bier Hall, West Fargo
Looking for a place with German flair? Wurst offers local, seasonal, and regional beers and wines along with German favorites. Menu items include pretzels, sausages, currywurst, and kuchen. And the West Fargo location has an outdoor patio area.
Wild Bill’s Sports Saloon
Just off I-94 and 45th Street in Fargo, this western-themed bar and restaurant has an outdoor patio. They serve comfort food and drinks, homemade cheese curds, breaded pickles, wings, and burgers and have a game room for the kids with pinball, retro, and interactive games.
