Project ManagerDanielle grew up in a small, rural North Dakota town before attending university in Fargo. She graduated with a bachelor's degree in Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences and has an associate's degree in Sign Language Interpreting. She and her husband, Andrew, have been married for six years and have four beautiful kids together. Danielle decided before she had her second child to be a stay-at-home mom. While life gets insane at times, she's happy to have other stay-at-home mom friends she can share the ups and downs of parenting with. She loves to find a good deal, bake, and spend time with her family. She and her husband, Jordan, first connected through their church community, where a shared love of music sparked a friendship that grew over time. Today, they live in the small town of Fertile, MN with their three daughters—Olivia, Everly, and Sophie. While they’ve embraced the rhythms of rural life (alongside a flock of 15 chickens), their roots in the Fargo-Moorhead area remain strong. Jordan commutes to Fargo weekly for work, and Kallie is frequently in town for appointments, events, and time with family and friends. A stay-at-home mom and creative spirit, Kallie finds joy in crafting, homemaking, and building community. She shares DIY projects, seasonal inspiration, and everyday beauty through her personal brand, KindlyKal (@kindlykal on Instagram), and occasionally participates in local farmers markets as a vendor. Creativity flows through every aspect of family life—from imaginative play and crafts with the kids to hosting themed gatherings and exploring community events like parades, markets, and the Folkways Night Bazaar. As Fargo Mom’s Social Media Coordinator, Kallie brings her passion for storytelling and connection to the digital space—managing content calendars, designing graphics, and helping cultivate an online community where local moms feel seen, supported, and inspired. She met her husband, Justin, at a bar in Pittsburgh and, despite many romantic Skype dates, found a long-distance relationship to be a drag and moved to Fargo in 2010. She's a bonus mom to Justin's son, Owen (2005), and they have twins Augie and Delphi (2016) and two Great Danes, Rainy and Moose. She's a Speech-Language Pathologist & Certified Brain Injury Specialist who enjoys helping her patients improve their quality of life. She is also a Certified Sculpt Instructor at Mojo Fit Studios. Katina loves showing the world to her kids (but also seeing the world through their eyes), trying new foods, listening to live music and publicly mocking her little brother on Instagram. On most weekends, you can find her at one of her kids' many activities by day, and by night on the couch in sweats, eating a homemade charcuterie board and drinking cheap wine she bought at Costco. She still has Skype dates, but now they're with friends and family who live all over the place. To read more from Katina, check out her posts here.EditorLeah is a true Midwesterner: born in Minnesota, educated at the University of North Dakota, and living in Fargo-Moorhead since 2009. She loves the Fargo community and the opportunities available for her family here (but not so much the snow). Anthea is a self-described “Disney Nerd.” The movies, music, and theme parks – she loves it all! With ages ranging from infant to teenager, Anthea keeps herself busy just trying to keep up with her kiddos! In the past 14 years, Anthea has seen the rules of parenting change and evolve, which just goes to show we are always learning and adapting. No parent is perfect! Which is why Anthea feels it is important for moms to have a network where they can support each other and learn from one another. Besides writing, Anthea enjoys cooking, crafting, working out, and attending community events with her family. Raised on a farm in south central North Dakota, she grew up with plenty of chores, lots of fresh air, and a deep appreciation for hard work, family, and faith. She’s been teaching English since 2014, most recently at Kindred High School, later added adjunct professor at the University of Mary to her resume, and somehow still squeezes in part-time work at Scheels (coffee required). When she’s not lesson planning or grading papers, Ashlee loves baking up something sweet, decorating her home, or packing everyone into the car for their next family adventure. Summers off with her kids are her absolute favorite, and she’ll never say no to a shopping trip or an excuse to enjoy just one more cup of coffee. After moving around in her college and Army National Guard years, she settled in Barnesville with her husband, Dan, in 2015. They have two young sons, Oliver and Finn, and two dogs – a Beagle named Frankie and a crazy Lab mix rescue named Haddie. Caitlin was the owner of a small blog and Etsy shop for a couple of years and a licensed veterinary technician for nearly 10 years. She recently set aside all to focus on being a full-time stay-at-home mom. She is hoping to homeschool in the coming years. Caitlin loves the outdoors and is passionate about the benefits of connecting and reconnecting children and adults to nature in a technology-saturated world. Since their infancies, she and her husband have strived to include their boys in all their outdoor pursuits, cultivating a lot of good life lessons through the triumphs and failures this has allowed them. They particularly enjoy hiking/backpacking, tent camping, fishing, gardening, and exploring the nooks and crannies of Minnesota, along with unearthing the diversity in their own (itty bitty) backyard. Caitlin also enjoys reading, woodworking and crafting, learning “homestead-y” skills, birdwatching, traveling, and writing. She’s on a journey of learning to source more locally through makers, farms, and other businesses and loves exploring these resources in the area. Her (unofficial) love language is coffee. Lindsay is the exact opposite of that. What she lacks in skill and willingness to do ALL the things, she tries to replace by being present and positive. Her top priority is her family - her husband, Chris, two boys born in 2018 and 2020, and dogs, Burton and Gus. She also prioritizes herself, working as a Communications Manager for a healthcare company and staying well through exercise, gratitude, and mindfulness. Her first love is running and she has run marathons in several cities, including Boston, Chicago (which she ran pregnant with her first son), Duluth, and of course, Fargo. Her writing is often based on personal stories, with a touch of humor, and lots of honesty. She hopes all moms know how strong they are and encourages you to embrace who you are, rather than try to be who you think you should be.
