Things to Do at Amazing Acres

Corn Maze & Sunflower Maze

Nothing says “fall” like getting lost in a maze, and at Amazing Acres you’ll find a corn maze and a sunflower maze!

I’ve never heard of a sunflower maze before, so I was very excited to embark on this unique experience with the kids. In fact, I don’t think I’ve ever been so close to sunflowers before, because I didn’t realize how huge they get.

Photo Opportunities

Whenever I bring the kids somewhere fun, I tell them they owe me some nice photos! And the photo opportunities at Amazing Acres are some of the best. We especially loved the set-ups near the beautiful blooming flowers.

Corn Pit

Corn pits always seem to be a hit with kids, and the corn pit at Amazing Acres was massive. Plus there were plenty of toys and slides to encourage sensory play. The kids didn’t want to leave. And I must admit, the adults were having a great time in the corn too – it’s surprisingly comfortable and relaxing!

Pumpkin Patch

The pumpkin patch has everything you need for your cooking, carving, and decorating needs. Prices for pumpkins range from $1-$9 depending on size. Straw bales, corn stalks, and flowers are also available for purchase. Cash, credit card, and Venmo are all accepted forms of payment.

Barrel Train and Wagon Ride

The barrel train and wagon rides are included with admission, and they’re a great way to explore the gorgeous property. Plus, we got a lot of great info from our wagon driver about the work they do at the farm. The kids especially enjoyed the views of the cows and the growing crops.

Farm Animals

In addition to the cows, the property has a nice petting zoo with goats, ducks, and sheep. And very recently, Amazing Acres had a batch of baby chicks hatch! They are simply adorable.

Amenities

A great amenity available for guests of Amazing Acres is their horse barn with real bathrooms! And better still, the bathrooms are equipped with full-sized and miniature-sized toilet facilities. This is fantastic news for parents of little ones.

The barn also has air conditioning, heat, and a small seating area with concession stand – perfect to get refueled for more hours of play. Food options include pizza, hotdogs, mac-and-cheese, soups, caramel apple nachos, homemade puppy chow, and more!

Special Events

Amazing Acres also hosts special events, like Flashlight Maze nights and Haunted Wagon Rides. Follow Amazing Acres ND on Facebook or Instagram to stay up to date on their latest offerings!

And if you’re looking for an event space, Amazing Acres is available for private bookings, birthday parties, and field trips.

My kids had an absolute blast at Amazing Acres – we could have spent the whole day there. And the staff were incredible – they shared so much about what they do at the farm, and they welcomed visitors in like family.

I look forward to making Amazing Acres a fall family tradition for years to come!
