Ready to beat the heat this summer? We’ve compiled a list of outdoor splash pads and pools in Fargo. Keep this list handy for those hot days when you need a little pool time!
Please note all hours are weather permitting, and in the case if inclement weather pools in Fargo and Moorhead will be closed. Please contact each individual pool or splash pad operator for questions and more information.
Splash Pads & Pools in Fargo
Davies Recreational Pool
OPEN JUNE 3 – September 2, 2024 (Note: Only open 1:00 – 5:00 p.m. August 17-25; Closed August 26-30; Only open 1:00 – 5:00 p.m. August 31-September 2)
- Two large waterslides (one is Fargo’s first drop slide)
- Zero-depth swim area
- Large playground with several small slides
- Climbing wall over a section of the pool
- Large deck area for lounging
- Concessions
Please note that there is a minimum height requirement of 48 inches for the large waterslides. This is a manufacturer’s requirement.

Island Park Pool
CLOSED FOR CONSTRUCTION IN 2024

Madison Pool & Splash Pad

Roger G. Gress Northside Pool
OPENS JUNE 3 – AUGUST 25 2024 (Note: Only open 1:00 – 5:00 p.m. August 17-25)

Moorhead City Pools
Moorhead Municipal Swimming Pool
OPEN MAY 31 – AUGUST 16, 2024
3 separate pools to provide a fun experience for all ages.
2 wading pools with depths ranging from 1′ to 2.5′.
The large pool ranges in depth from 3’9″ to 12′. This heated, 6-lane pool has water slides, a diving area, and is handicap accessible.
General Admission Hours
June & July: Open Daily 12:30 – 4:30 p.m. and 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. (July 4th open 12:30-4:30 p.m.)
August: Open Daily 1:00 – 4:00 p.m.
Moorhead Wading Pools
OPEN MAY 31 – AUGUST 11, 2024
These six neighborhood wading pools are offered for youth ages 10 years and under. All children must be accompanied and closely supervised by an adult. Small flotation devices and toys are allowed. There is no lifeguard on duty at these wading pools.

Dilworth Pool

The Dilworth municipal swimming pool is located at 301 1st Street NW in Dilworth, MN (just east of Moorhead).
General Admission Hours
1:00 to 5:00 p.m. (Open Swim)
5:00 to 6:00 p.m. (Family/Adult Swim)
6:00 to 8:00 p.m. (Open Swim)

Kava Family Splash Pad – McGrath Park (Barnesville, MN)
Open June 1st through the last Sunday in September (Weather Permitting). Open 10:00 a.m. – Sunset and free of charge.
