Have little ones and looking for a smaller pool option? Try one of the six Moorhead wading pools! They are the perfect size to splash and play while mom and dad can watch worry-free!

Moorhead Wading Pools

Locations: Hansmann Park, Northeast Park, Ridgewood Park, River Estates Park, South Park, and Village Green Park

Moorhead has six neighborhood wading pools for kids 10 years old and younger that are free to the public.

What to do:

Relax and enjoy a little sunshine as the kids play in these shallow wading pools! They’re a nice size for little ones who are just getting used to the water and not ready for a full-sized pool yet.

Why we love it:

Moorhead wading pools are great for young kids and it’s free!

Kids are able to bring in small floatation devices and toys.

The shallow, small size of the pools makes it easy to supervise kids.

Located throughout Moorhead, the pools are a great spot to meet up for playdates!

Good to know:

Moorhead wading pools are open daily from 1:00 – 7:00 p.m.

These pools are open from early June 2 – August 13, 2023.

Please note that there is no lifeguard on duty. And all kids must be accompanied and closely supervised by an adult.

And no food is allowed inside the pool gates.
