Social Media Manager Role Description:
The Fargo Mom Social Media Manager will be the manager and point of contact on all social media platforms for Fargo Mom. They will work directly with Fargo Mom ownership and executive team to plan and publish all social media content. They will be responsible for managing and executing all content details on Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Has social media management experience and experience running social media campaigns.
- Familiar using all Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok tools, including stories, reels, insights, filters.
- Experience making videos and using text, voiceover, and other editing tools.
- An eager go-getter, isn’t afraid to make connections with external partners, and is prepared to represent our social media channels.
- Organized, driven, detail-oriented, assertive, and administratively gifted self-starter and can take a task and run with it.
- Is available to work 7-10 hours per week and will provide status updates on a weekly basis to Fargo Mom ownership.
- Is a collaborative and engaging team player with our Executive Team.
- Comfortable using Canva to create graphics and content/edit photos.
- Creative eye for creating content, including graphics, photos, videos, and other social content.
- Feels passionately about Fargo Mom’s goals and the greater community of Fargo-Moorhead.
This is a contract-based, paid position. Hourly rate is dependent on experience, and will be discussed directly with the Fargo Mom owner during the application and interview process.
