Be My Neighbor Day 2026

The third annual “Be My Neighbor Day” is coming to Rheault Farm in Fargo on Saturday, August 8th from 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.! This is a free, outdoor event open to the Fargo community, host by Prairie Public.

Children can meet Daniel Tiger and Katerina Kittycat from PBS KIDS’ Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood. Plus, families can enjoy hands-on activities from community partners, including the Fargo, Moorhead, and West Fargo public libraries, Fargo-Moorhead Science Museum, Great Plains Children’s Museum, BIO Girls, NDSU Child Development, River Keepers, Fargo Police Department, and more!

New this year, attendees can enjoy live entertainment throughout the day from Emmy Award-winning children’s musician and educator Conductor Jack, whose interactive performances encourage singing and dancing.

A FREE lunch will also be provided during the midday hours.

“Be My Neighbor Day” always includes an opportunity to give back to the community. This year, we’ll have a station set up for children to write and draw “thank you” cards for local veterans.

“Great event! The tables each had wonderful activities which was a good surprise! We loved the variety rather than something simple like coloring sheets and stickers!” – 2025 attendee
