Kick off the holiday season and experience the magic of the Xcel Energy Holiday Lights Parade on Saturday, December 6th. The parade begins at 6:30 p.m. in Downtown Fargo and features festive floats, music, and more!

Event Details

This free annual family-friendly event is put on by the Downtown Community Partnership and attendees can experience the holiday magic of Downtown Fargo.

Parade Route:

The Parade will start 6th Street and Center Avenue in Moorhead (by the Moorhead SCHEELS), and run along Center Avenue (Moorhead) and NP Avenue (Fargo), then turn onto Broadway headed north until it ends at 4th Avenue North.

Some great spots to watch are:

  • Center Avenue by SCHEELS and the old Moorhead Center Mall south entrance.
  • Along NP Avenue near Vogel Law Firm or the Title Company.
  • Anywhere along Broadway between Blarney Stone/The HoDo and the Fargo Theatre.

Be sure to check out the large dazzling Christmas tree at Broadway Square, and bring your ice skates to enjoy the rink.
