St. Patrick’s Day Events in Fargo 2024

Kid’s Lucky Terrarium Workshop

Date: Tuesday, March 12th at 2:00 p.m.

Location: Baker Garden & Gift

Allow your child to unplug, think creatively, and make a mess at this Terrarium class. They will build an ecosystem step-by-step from soil to a lucky shamrock plant. A parent or guardian is encouraged to work with their child. Registration required.

Kid’s Healthy Cooking Class: Shamrock Shakes

Date: Tuesday, March 12th from 5:00 – 6:00 p.m.

Location: Family Wellness

Try this new healthy twist on a classic! This class is recommended for ages 7-11. Cost is $15 for members and $25 non-members. Registration is required.

Parent’s Night Out

Date: Friday, March 15th from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m.

Location: We Rock the Spectrum

Kids will enjoy an evening of open play, games, pizza, and St. Patrick’s Day activities! For ages 3+, must be potty-trained. $35 per child, $30 for each additional sibling. Call 701-532-3210 to register.

Celtic Festival

Date: Saturday, March 16th from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Location: Hjemkomst Center

Fargo-Moorhead’s annual Celtic Festival returns for a celebration of the rich culture of the seven Celtic Nations! Take in the intriguing history, arts, and traditions of Brittany, Cornwall, Isle of Man, Galicia, Ireland, Scotland and Wales. Enjoy programming on three stages featuring community and regional performers, lyrical Celtic music, dancers’ impressive footwork, engaging stories of Celtic lore, fencing demonstrations and more! Feast on traditional Celtic cuisine from Concordia Catering. Admission is $5, kids 10 and under are free.

Cookie Decorating & Brunch

Date: Saturday, March 16th at 10:00 a.m.

Location: Milk Made Catering

Join a festive morning of Irish themed cookie decorating and merriment! Sip on a mocktail, snack at the Milk Made grazing table, and create delicious and beautiful treats with Frosted Art by Courtney. Registration required.

St. Patrick’s Day Parade

Date: Saturday, March 16th at 11:00 a.m.

Location: Downtown Fargo

This annual parade attracts thousands of spectators throughout the Fargo-Moorhead community. This joyful celebration of Irish heritage, springtime in Fargo and our community will feature spectacular parade floats, marching units, equestrian entries, & so much more! Route typically goes south down Broadway.

Cooking Class: St. Patrick’s Day Dinner

Date: Saturday, March 16th at 5:00 p.m.

Location: The 1889 Fargo

Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day and learn to make Shepherd’s Pie! This Shepherd’s Pie will feature ground lamb with a Colcannon topping. End the night with Irish Apple Pie with Custard. Registration required.

St. Paddy’s Day All Night Lock-In

Date: Saturday, March 16th at 8:00 p.m. to Sunday, March 17th at 8:00 a.m.

Location: Replay Games

Over 7,000 games to choose from, including Jackbox games, competitions, board games, virtual reality, and more. Each ticket includes pizza, snacks, 1 VR session, and all-night gaming. They will have soda and juice available until supplies run out. Additional drinks, snacks, and VR available for purchase. Tickets required. Minors ages 12 and older can be left unsupervised if desired.

St. Patrick’s Weekend Party & Brunch

Date: Saturday, March 16th and Sunday, March 17th from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

Location: Hooligan’s West Fargo

Enjoy an Irish themed brunch and Bingo at 12:30 p.m.

St. Paddy’s Day Party

Date: Sunday, March 17th starting at 9:00 a.m.

Location: Blarney Stone West Fargo

Blarney Stone is hosting St. Paddy’s Day Party on March 17 with everything you’ll need for you to get your Irish on! There will be live music, authentic Irish food, giveaways, and more.

Cooking Class: St. Patrick’s Day Brunch

Date: Sunday, March 17th at 12:00 p.m.

Location: The 1889

Celebrate the day with a traditional Irish brunch! Menu includes: Sausages, Hash Browns, Tomatoes, Baked Beans, and Bacon. Registration required.
