T-Rex Tea Party invites preschoolers to stomp, sip, and share in a playful mix of dinosaurs and pretend play. We’ll read dino-themed stories, sing lively songs, and practice our best tea party manners – T-Rex style (tiny arms and all!). Expect imaginative play, movement, and plenty of giggles as we explore friendship, sharing, and a little bit of “fancy” fun. Dress up is welcome, whether you’re feeling fancy, fierce, or both! Library staff will share tips you can use to instill a love of reading in your child. These are parent/child storytimes geared for your child’s success; therefore, we ask one adult per child to keep the learning to a maximum. This event series will be held at the Main Library and is most appropriate for children ages 3 to 5. Activities will follow each storytime and all children will receive a FREE book!
