KID-FRIENDLY EVENTS

Kids Healthy Cooking Class

Day: February 3rd, 5:30 p.m. – 6:45 p.m.

Location: Family Wellness, 360 32nd Ave W, Ste 100, West Fargo

Details: Make a heart shaped pizza using healthy toppings and fresh vegetables! Register for this event for ages 7-12; $15 for members, $25 for non-members.

Heart Art Valentine Workshop

Day: February 6th, 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Location: We Rock the Spectrum, 3051 25th St S, Fargo

Details: Color Splash Art is teaming up with We Rock the Spectrum to bring you a heART filled workshop where kids ages 5-9 will create a fun gift anyone special in their life along with a few other fun activities! Tickets are $30 for this drop-off event; call ahead to purchase.

Hoya Heart Pot Painting

Day: February 6th, 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Location: Baker Garden and Gift, 2733 University Dr. S, Fargo

Details: This Hoya Heart makes for an excellent Valentine’s Day gift and novelty houseplant. Using three primary acrylic paint colors and white to lighten colors, you’ll not only be learning about plants but color theory too!  Included in your ticket is two, 4” terracotta pots to paint, one Hoya Kerri plant, paints, and Baker Blend soil. Tickets are $25, children must be accompanied by an adult.

Valentine’s Kids Workshop Cookies & Playdough

Day: February 9th, 4:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.

Location: Brewhalla, 1702 1st Ave N, Fargo

Details: This Valentine’s themed workshop is for kids ages 4-12 and includes reading a book, decorating cookies, playing in sensory bins, and making a playdough jar. Each child will get to learn how to decorate three sugar cookies to take home with them and make their own playdough jar to keep! Tickets are $45 and registration is required. Parents are asked to drop off their child at the Unglued Craftatorium and promptly pick up at 5:30 p.m.

Puppy Kissing Booth

Day: February 13th, 8:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Location: Scheels Home & Hardware, 3202 13th Ave S, Fargo

Details: Stop by for puppy kisses, snuggles, and consider adopting one of these cute puppies to give them a forever home. Suggested donation of $10 per photo to be donated directly to the rescue and their mission. Toys and treats will also be 20% off. You can purchase for your own furry friend or purchase and donate items to Turtle Mountain Animal Rescue.

Valentine Craft for Kids

Day: February 11th, 3:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.

Location: West Fargo Public Library, 215 3rd St. E, West Fargo

Details: Visit the library for an afternoon of fun crafts just in time for Valentine’s Day! The variety of projects are intended for ages 6 to 12, but all are welcome. Sweet treats and all craft supplies will be provided by the library. This event is free and open to the public. No registration required.

GALantine’s Day with Taylor Swift Laser Show

Day: February 13th, 7:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

Location: MSUM Planetarium, 700 11th St. S, Bridges Hall RM 167, Moorhead

Details: What’s better than a Taylor Swift playlist? A Taylor Swift playlist set to laser lights! Enjoy unforgettable hits from her first ten distinct eras. Sing along to all your favorites and let the show transport you through different stories as only laser light can. They’ll be a free photo booth to commemorate the night!

Galentine’s Day Event

Day: February 13th, 7:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.

Location: Clay Your Way, 4600 17th Ave S, Fargo

Details: This ones for the girlies! Grab your crew of all ages to paint the cutest tic-tac-toe sets and enjoy a sweet treat while making memories!

Valentine’s Day Crafts at Kidco

Day: February 14th, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Location: KidCo Children’s Museum, Moorhead

Details: Head to KidCo for Valentine’s crafts happening all day long! Open 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. with a toddler-only session from 9:00 – 10:30 a.m.

Love in the Snow: A Winter Wonderland Party

Day: February 14th, 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Location: We Rock the Spectrum, 3051 25th St S, Fargo

Details: Enjoy two hours of gym play, all the warm hugs from a special snowman visitor, sensory play, and themed crafts! Tickets are $25, call ahead to book.

‘Reel in the Love’ Open House

Day: February 14th, 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Location: MSUM Oceanarium, 360 32nd Ave W, Ste 100, West Fargo

Details: Enjoy the first open house of the year at the Oceanarium with the whole family. Make a Valentine for a fishy friend at their Valentine’s Day card making station!

Valentine’s Day Parent’s Night Out at Code Ninjas

Day: February 14th, 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.

Location: Code Ninjas, 4480 23rd Ave S (Fargo)

Details: Drop off your kids for a night of coding, gaming, making friendship bracelets, robotics, and fun, while you enjoy a date night out. Ages 6-4, cost is $40 per child.

Sweetheart Dance Eras Tour Style 

Day: February 15th, 4:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Location: Rustad Recreation Center, 601 26th Ave E, West Fargo

Details: Start the night with a dazzling Grand March and dance to a variety of great music, including some of Taylor Swift’s hottest hits! Enjoy a “Delicate” light meal, receive a “Gorgeous” gift, and capture memories with a professional photographer, if you’re “Ready for It”! Come dressed in your favorite era or your own style and “Shake It Off” with your dad, grandpa, uncle, or another special role model in this sweet celebration. This event is for ages 4-12 and $45 per couple.

Floral Design

Details: Learn the basics of Floral Design from an expert! You’ll leave with a bouquet you can keep for yourself or give as a gift, along with the knowledge to do it again! Tickets are $20, and children must be accompanied by an adult.
