A Mother’s Day Candle + Collage Workshop with Free Soul Candle Co. & Artist Nichole Rae

Join Sam of Free Soul Candle Co. and Artist Nichole Rae for a collaborative workshop that weaves together candle making, affirmations, and collage.

Create a 12 oz custom soy candle and design a matching vessel and ceramic trivet using positive affirmations. Personalize your candle with your choice of scents, botanicals, crystals, and a touch of shimmer—each piece crafted to reflect your unique energy. All materials are thoughtfully sourced, using pure soy wax and naturally derived fragrance and essential oil blends, always free from parabens, phthalates, and harmful toxins.

The Experience

With Sam, you will:

Choose your scent profile and select from a variety of add-ins, including dried flowers, crystals, and subtle sparkle
Prepare your vessel and properly set your wick
Blend fragrances into warm soy wax and pour your candle
Learn best practices for burning and caring for your candle to ensure longevity and optimal scent

With Artist Nichole Rae, you will:

Be guided through a signature collage practice
Personalize your candle vessel and ceramic trivet using curated papers, affirmations, and mixed media elements
Receive creative guidance and inspiration throughout the process

You will leave with a handcrafted candle and trivet—each infused with intention—to bring warmth and inspiration into your space.

This workshop is Sat, May 9 1pm at the Unglued Craftatorium at Brewhalla – 1702 1st Ave N, Fargo, ND 58102 (attached to Drekker Brewing – you’ll find this workshop room on Brewhalla’s 2nd floor!). Ages middle school to adult. Each attendee must be a ticket holder.

Refund policy: We know plans can change! If you need to change plans please email us at [email protected] at least 72 hours prior to workshop start to receive a full refund. After that we don’t give refunds as supplies are already purchased unless if we are able to utilize a wait list based on demand, but you can transfer it to another person!

Please note a minimum of 8 participants is required so if we don’t reach that by 24 hours prior to the event you will be notified by email and refunded.
