SUMMARY:Kindergarten Success Storytime - T-Rex Tea Party
DESCRIPTION:T-Rex Tea Party invites preschoolers to stomp\, sip\, and share in a playful mix of dinosaurs and pretend play. We’ll read dino-themed stories\, sing lively songs\, and practice our best tea party manners – T-Rex style (tiny arms and all!). Expect imaginative play\, movement\, and plenty of giggles as we explore friendship\, sharing\, and a little bit of “fancy” fun. Dress up is welcome\, whether you’re feeling fancy\, fierce\, or both! Library staff will share tips you can use to instill a love of reading in your child. These are parent/child storytimes geared for your child’s success; therefore\, we ask one adult per child to keep the learning to a maximum. This event series will be held at the Main Library and is most appropriate for children ages 3 to 5. DESCRIPTION:Our furry friends from Pet Partners of the Red River Valley are here for another season of reading fun at the library. Reading Therapy pets are available on the second Saturday of each month (through May) to listen to children practice their reading in a relaxed\, informal setting. Kids in Kindergarten to 6th grade are invited to register for a 15-minute session with one of our non-judgmental listeners. Sessions begin at 10 a.m..
