Originally from the Twin Cities, Sally moved to Fargo in 2000 as a newlywed with her Connecticut-native husband, Frank. She shared her love of nature as a geology instructor at NDSU and MSUM for a few years, then became a full time mom to her growing family, which now includes ten children (b. 2000 - 2020)! Over the years, Sally has found time to mentor New Americans, to teach NFP, and to do some freelance writing and editing. Her favorite activities are time spent with family and friends, and lake swimming with her family and the triathlon club. She also cherishes time spent in worship and prayer at church. In 2022 her sister encouraged her to share parenting wisdom, which brought her to Fargo Mom. You can check out her posts here, and you can view her compilation of helpful links and tips for local homeschoolers at her website, Northern Home Scholar.
