Happy New Year!

I don’t know about you, but I for one, am so ready for 2016.

I’m ready for a fresh start, new outlook and new adventures. Saynora 2015, don’t let the door hit you on the way out. It may seem silly, but I feel like I always have better luck in even years…call me superstitious, but it’s true!

We spent the final eve of 2015 cozied up in our house, with no plans and nowhere to go. It was fine by me! We played a few games as a family, watched Minions, and had a “champagne toast”, aka sparkling apple juice. Casey told Jade she could stay up as late as she wanted, and she made it until 10:00. We made it until 11:30. 🙂 I felt a little silly going to bed so close to midnight, but we watched the ball drop on East coast time.

As most people have, I’ve spent some time reflecting on the last year, as well as what I’d like to change/accomplish in 2016. I have a lot of good vibes going into the new year. Here are a few of the things I’m hoping to focus on:

  1. Blog more often
  2. Read more books
  3. Eat healthier
  4. Practice yoga
  5. Drink more water

I could make a much longer list, but I’m hoping these are a few goals I can achieve that will make me an all-around happier person. A new year, a fresh start, it feels good!
